Fraunhofer IFF is a part of Fraunhofer Gesellschaft the leading applied research organization in Europe. The teams of Process and Plant Engineering Business Unit and Virtual Interactive Training of IFF have led or took part in a large number of national and international R&D projects, e.g. German model regions in E-Energy Programm (RegModHarz, Harz.E.EMobility), FP7 (Web2Energy), ViERforES. Electrum sp. z o.o. designs and delivers investment and technology projects for the energy and industry sectors. It has completed several projects co-financed from EU funds, e.g.: creation of design department of automation and power engineering, development and implementation of B2B software, creation of laboratory with technical infrastructure. Electrum conducted several R&D projects e.g. energy management system with cloud based software, internal IT system for employee communications, data storage and exchange. Electrum possesses a wide portfolio regarding power engineering and automation contracts, including 550 MWs of installed power on 13 wind farms, over 30 completed HV/MV substations and several dozen commercial and industrial buildings and compounds.
Warsaw University of Technology (WUT–IEPE) team has experience in realization of scientific-research projects for different enterprises from electrical power engineering industry. WUT–IEPE took part in several scientific projects, e.g. “Analysis of operation states of low voltage electric power distribution grids with connected distributed generation sources” (in Polish) which was financed by Ministry of Science and Higher Education (Poland). Some members of WUT–IEPE team were co-authors of monograph titled “Low voltage microgrids”(in Polish) published by House of the Warsaw University of Technology in 2013, and co-financed by Ministry of Science and Higher Education (Poland) from the funds dedicated for science promoting activities.
